J. P. Mascaro & Sons has secured 20 municipal contracts in the last quarter of
2014. The total contracts are valued at approximately 45,000,000 dollars. The work is
centered around Mascaro’s various operating centers in the local regions. The
contracts include the Boroughs of Bridgeport, Rockledge, Pottstown, Emmaus,
Nazareth, St. Lawrence, Archbald, Dalton, Wyoming, Laflin, and Alburtis and the
Townships of Lower Providence, Pittston, and Carbondale.
Mascaro is the premier supplier of waste removal/disposal contracts in the
region. They possess company owned landfills, recycling and composting centers along
with a collection fleet of over 400 vehicles.
J. P. Mascaro & Sons is operated today by a third generation of Mascaro’s. J. P.
Mascaro & Sons celebrated their 50th anniversary of doing business in the waste
industry in 2014 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award in Entrepreneurship by the
National Italian-American Political Action Committee.
