Holiday Schedule
If there is a holiday that lands on a Saturday or Sunday, all collections will remain as a normal collection schedule. No changes in service. Expect curbside collection on your scheduled collection day.

If you receive once per week service collection

If your service day falls on a holiday, collection will occur on the very next day of that week, with few exceptions. Most collections for the week are postponed (1) one day. Please check your municipality’s website to verify your collection is postponed one (1) day.
If you receive twice per week service collection
Most Common Recycling Contaminants
Please help make single-stream recycling a success by keeping these and other materials that cause contamination out of your recycling container.
Follow these simple guidelines when preparing your material for collection.

Trash and recycling should be placed curbside the night before your scheduled collection. Drivers do not return to residences if materials are unprepared at the scheduled collection time.

Please contact J.P. Mascaro & Sons at least 24 hours before your regularly scheduled collection to request a large item pick-up and/or excessive amounts of trash. Any mattress or upholstered furniture should be completely sealed in disposable plastic for removal.

Freon containing appliances require special handling procedures prior to pick-up.

According to Federal law, J.P. Mascaro & Sons is not permitted to accept batteries, tires, liquids, combustible materials or any items identified as hazardous.

Bulky materials including drywall, concrete, bricks, dirt or rocks are not acceptable.

Drums, barrels, yard and household containers are not acceptable trash containers and will be assumed trash if placed at the curb.
Flexible Plastic Packaging Collection
Flexible packaging is any plastic packaging that is able to flex or wrap such as plastic pouches, wraps, and bags.
Curbside Trash Collection
J.P. Mascaro & Sons works with both individuals and municipalities to provide safe, prompt and dependable service.
Bulk Item Collection
Furniture, appliances, carpets, tree limbs larger than 3" in diameter but not longer than 36"
Single Stream Recycle
Plastic, clear glass, colored glass, aluminum, steel cans, cardboard and paper.
Yard Waste
Leaves, sticks, branches, twigs no more than four feet in length and less than 4" diameter.
Temporary Dumpster Service
J.P. Mascaro offers 10, 20, 30, 40 yard temporary dumpsters.
