Mascaro is among the leaders in recycling in Pennsylvania. The company operates three recycling centers for commingled recyclables. The facilities are the Great Valley Recycling Facility in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley Recycling Facility in Coplay, Pennsylvania, and the Wyoming Valley Recycling Facility in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania.
The company is involved in both residential and commercial recycling in Pennsylvania where recycling is required by law. Among the items currently being recycling by Mascaro are newspaper, aluminum, plastic, cardboard, clear glass, colored glass, and steel cans.Commercial recycling programs are handled on a customer by customer basis and incorporated into each customers waste handling program. Residential recycling, on the other hand, is generally handled on a contract basis with municipalities.
