Hughestown Borough council voted to award local solid waste hauling company J.P. Mascaro & Sons its comprehensive waste collection contract valued at $550,000. The contract encompasses once a week trash collection for a 3-year term with the potential for three more one-year options.
J. P. Mascaro & Sons is a local company founded and headquartered Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and is the largest privately owned waste company in the Northeast. J.P. Mascaro & Sons, local Wyoming Valley Division will service the Hughestown Borough residents.
