The Pioneer Crossing Landfill recently completed an upgrade of its administrative center both internally and externally. Additionally, new signage, landscaping and scales complimented a newly paved and lined facility reception area. The focal point of these improvements is the 15 ton rock that houses the bronze caricature of Joseph P. & Ida E. Mascaro, the foundation of the J. P. Mascaro & Sons/Pioneer Crossing Landfill operation.

The dedicated management team led by Tim Carpenter created and displayed an equipment showcase that illustrates the primary equipment that enables the facility to achieve an unsurpassed environmental record. Pasquale (Pat) Mascaro Sr., President of the landfill, stated, I feel the pride of this management and workforce team every day when I visit the facility and witness this equipment showcase. The employees and customers are our company's heart and enable this facility to be a “true friend within the community”.
