Warminster Township has awarded its comprehensive waste and recyclable materials collection contract, valued at $47 million, to local solid waste company J. P. Mascaro & Sons. The five-year contract, with two optional one-year extensions, includes twice-weekly trash collection, weekly recycling pickup, and seasonal yard waste removal from April through December. It remains one of the largest municipal contracts in the region. Mascaro will dispose of the Township’s waste at its Pioneer Crossing Landfill, and its recyclables will be processed at Mascaro’s state-of-the-art TotalRecycle, Inc. materials recovery facility. The contract will be serviced by Mascaro’s Bridgeport Division.
