Bridgeport Borough council unanimously voted to award local solid waste hauling company J.P. Mascaro & Sons its comprehensive waste collection contract valued at $4.2 million dollars. The contract encompasses once a week collection for trash and recyclables removal for a 5-year term.
J. P. Mascaro & Sons is a local company founded and headquartered in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, and is the largest privately owned waste company in the Northeast. J.P. Mascaro & Sons, local Bridgeport Division will service the Bridgeport residents.
