MASCARO WINS CONTRACT VALUED AT $23 MILLION TO SERVE WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP, LEHIGH COUNTY

On September 9, J.P. Mascaro & Sons secured a 5-year, $23 million contract to provide comprehensive waste, recycling, leaf collection, and disposal services for all the homes in Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. Whitehall is a major municipality within Lehigh County with a population approximately of 27,000 residents.  Earlier in the year, Mascaro won a similar $23 million contract with neighboring community South Whitehall Township.  The contract will start on January 2, 2025, and will be serviced by Mascaro’s expanding Allentown operating division, which serves numerous municipalities and customers in the Lehigh Valley. Sam Augustine, the Director of Sales and Marketing, commented on the contract award, stating, “Our company is continuing to grow, and we are very grateful for the contract award. We are looking forward to serving the Township residents.

The company was founded by Joseph P. Mascaro, Sr., and is operated by his four sons.
