Local waste collection company J. P. Mascaro & Sons was recently awarded a five-year, $3 million contract to provide weekly recycling and waste collection services for residents in the Borough of North Catasauqua, Northampton County. The contract will begin on January 1, 2026, and Mascaro will continue servicing the North Catasauqua contract from its Lehigh Valley Division in Allentown, which has an infrastructure of 60 collection vehicles and 150 employees. This division serves numerous municipalities, recently adding the City of Allentown in June, institutions, and commercial and industrial customers throughout the greater Lehigh Valley area.
Regarding the new contract, Mr. Sam Augustine, Director of Sales, stated, “We appreciate the award and look forward to continuing to serve North Catasauqua Borough.”
