Local solid waste company J.P. Mascaro & Sons has been awarded a three-year contract, with the potential for three additional option years, for the hauling and disposal of screenings, grit, and dewatered municipal sewage sludge. This contract was granted by Jim Thorpe Borough in Carbon County and will be handled by the Wyoming Valley Division of J.P. Mascaro & Sons.
