J. P. Mascaro & Sons has paid tribute to an outstanding community leader, Chuck “Eppy” Eppolito. Mr. Eppolito was a staple in the Methacton based community for over 20 years. He was intimately involved in both the business side of running the Junior and Senior Methacton Legion Programs as well as coaching on the field. Local solid waste hauler, J. P. Mascaro & Sons, sponsored many of his teams and programs.
The local hauler has paid tribute to his outstanding accomplishment at its corporate headquarters. The recognition and tribute wall at the headquarters consists of a multitude of plaques, memorabilia, signed baseballs and team photos associated with his 20 years of undeniable commitment. Many of the teams noted gained championships under his tutelage.
Mike Mascaro Sr, a long-time personal friend of Chuck indicated “Eppy is a good man who gave unlimited time and energy to the community”. His players performed well in the field and as well off the field as he was a positive contributor to their foundation and development on and off the field.
