Spring Commencement for Kutztown University
"I came in at 5am on Saturday and the loading docks looked great. Additionally, on Friday, your folks struggled through traffic and students to empty dumpsters and clear docks. They did a great job. I appreciate all the effort Joe, Omar and the rest of the guys put into helping make our campus as clean as it could possibly be for this event. Please pass our thanks on to them. One other thing, Stacy is great, she communicates well with us and we appreciate her efforts as well. You have a bunch of good people working with you".

“Mascaro, a local, family-owned and operated company, and the first to bid, provided in-depth information and offered us significant savings for the same or better service. How much savings we won’t know until some actual figures are in, but the figures their representatives forecast were impressive. Next, members of the Green Committee (including myself) visited the local landfill owned by Mascaro located in Birdsboro, PA. This is by far the crème de la crème of landfills. It is reminiscent of a scene from The Sound of Music, when Julie Andrews belts out “The hills are alive…” The scenery was beautiful, the air was fresh, and the energy generated was as “green” as “green” could be. Mascaro’s record for governmental compliance along with their environmental stewardship, made them a front-runner in the quest for a waste removal contract”.
