STAR STUDENT AWARDED AT SACRED HEART SCHOOL

Marco Inigo Cadag of Sacred Heart School was recently named as a “Star Student” by The Respect Program, an education program sponsored by Morris County waste removal provider, J.P. Mascaro & Sons. The “Star Student” program was created
in 2012 to acknowledge students who stand out in their classroom, school, and community. Educators have the opportunity to nominate students who demonstrate qualities of good citizenship and provide evidence of making positive and respectful

AARON DECKER SCHOOL RECEIVES EDUCATION GRANT FROM LOCAL TRASH COMPANY

Aaron Decker Elementary School is a 2014 recipient of The Respect Program Education Grant, sponsored by Morris County waste removal service provider, J.P. Mascaro & Sons. Aaron Decker Elementary School was awarded a grant in the amount
of $2,834.14 to implement a program titled “RRR to Grow a Circle of Friends” designed by school counselor Patricia Buntzen. “The program will foster friendships and demonstrate connectedness”, writes Buntzen.  MORE >>

MASCARO WINS $2.4 MILLION CONTRACT TO SERVE EMMAUS BOROUGH, LEHIGH COUNTY

Local waste collection company J. P. Mascaro & Sons was recently awarded a three-year $2.4 million contract to provide once per week recycling and waste collection services for residents in the Borough of Emmaus, Lehigh County. The contract will take effect on January 1, 2015, and Mascaro will service the Emmaus contract out of its Lehigh Valley Division, located in Allentown, which has an infrastructure of 75 collection vehicles and 100 employees that serves numerous municipalities, institutions, commercial and industrial customers in the greater Lehigh Valley area.  MORE >>

FRANCESCO A. MASCARO MEMORIAL BLOOD DRIVE UPDATE

The J. P. Mascaro & Sons, Francesco A. Mascaro Memorial Blood Drive, is going strong, and Blood Drive organizers, Mrs. Susan Lee Mascaro and her son, Pat Mascaro, Jr., could not be happier.“The response to this Blood Drive in Frank’s memory has been overwhelming, and we hope to far exceed our goal of 1,000 donated pints by the time the Drive concludes in September,” said Pat Mascaro, Jr.  “Frank gave so much of himself to others when he was alive, and now thousands are honoring his giving spirit by donating much needed blood in his memory.  If Frank were still here, he would be the first in line to donate,” added Mrs. Mascaro.  MORE >>

The Borough of Birdsboro is one step closer to having a new, modern supermarket for its residents, who have been without one for several years. A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on Friday, May 9, 2014 for the Shops at St. Mark’s Square, which will be anchored by a 27,000 square foot Boyer’s Supermarket and which will contain an additional 10,000 square feet of leasable retail space.
